Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Clark attended dental school at the University of Michigan. Upon receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, he moved out to San Francisco where he completed a residency in Periodontics at the University of California San Francisco leading him to become the Pacific Heights in house periodontist in San Francisco.
Dr. Clark’s clinical work focuses on the treatments of periodontitis (gum disease), dental implants, and correcting gingival recession. Dr. Clark also spends his time working at the Dental School at the University of California San Francisco where he performs basic science and clinical research on the treatment of periodontal disease and bone regeneration.
He has authored numerous publications and has spoken nationally and internationally on his research. Concurrent to working with the team from our dentist in San Francisco at Pacific Heights, Dr. Clark continues to study the latest advancements in dental science. He combines his intellectual curiosity with his compassion, offering his patients exceptional care making him known as our premier Periodontist in San Francisco.
