Peter L. Jacobsen, PhD, DDS.
Dr Jacobsen traveled the world as the child in a military family. He graduated from Florida State University and then returned to San Francisco, where his father was stationed, to attend the University of California, San Francisco, to get his PhD in Comparative Pharmacology. After a postdoc in Berkeley in the School of Public Health, he returned to UCSF to get his DDS degree and then completed a 2 year Oral Medicine program, a specialty within dentistry that focuses on the interface between medicine and dentistry.
He then went into private practice in general dentistry as well as became a faculty member at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, a position he held for 35 years. He is still a part time Adjunct Professor at the newly named Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
His primary professional focus is now on his general dental practice. He brings a lifetime of skills, knowledge, experience and caring to serve the needs of his patients.
He and his wife, Gwen, also live and work on their little culinary farm in Napa Valley. A farm with 120 different fruit trees, over 25 different culinary flowers and multiple varieties of herbs and vegetables and is exclusively dedicate to serving Chefs and Restaurants.
